Music Feedback documentary
Apart from Little Mo and Friends, I also work as a freelance producer on documentaries and short films. This is a Music feedback anti-stigma campaign video that we directed and produced for the West Australian Department of Health.
It features interviews by Roly Skender, Gyroscope, Justin from End of Fashion, Birds of Tokyo, Abbe May, The Kill Devil Hills and The Yabu Band.
Watch part 2, 3, and 4 here to see the rest of the band interviews.
Personally, I enjoyed working on this project because we were using a unique platform like music and documentary to reach out to young people who could be suffering from mental health issues (and who probably look up to some of these musicans for inspiration). The objective of this campaign was to promote mental health and challenge the prejudice and stereotypes attached to mental illness.
Let us know your thoughts! Scroll down the video page here for more.
In case you didn’t know you can get free cd/dvds of some great West Australian musicians just by filling out this form here. It’s free and the music is great, I listen to the cd while I draw!

Wonderful project Ms.H. I am impressed! I wondered what you did outside of Little Mo, I figured you were just an illustrating superstar!
I like the idea of using “role models” to say how they feel, their experiences to show that it can affect everyone. Somehow.
Thanks for showing us!
