Some overdue photos from the Winter Made On The Left.
MOTL was held over two days during the weekend. It even had a special shoutout on 7PM Project!
Thanks to everyone who came by to say hi and bought Little Mo goodies. You are all so awesome! Stay tuned for more photos of the day!
P/S: I’m wearing one of Niina’s bow ribbons. Check out her new shop.

Just finished with my latest custom illustration. This is Keshi and Neko with their owners, Samara and Paul.
As you can see from my before and after pictures, I do most of my tweaking and ink details in the colouring stage.
From the photographs that Samara sent me of her pets and her husband, I figured she loved nature and was a bubbly and fun person at heart. So I drew the happy family out in the countryside, sitting by a water lily pond.
To see more of my custom illustrations, head over to Little Mo and Friend’s Facebook page. Book me in for custom portrait this Father’s Day! Best of all, I can make Mr Daddy look ten years younger! Hehe!

I’ve been having tons of fun with custom portraits lately! Thank you ever so much!
My latest custom illustration is for a very sweet customer. Her name is Frances and she has the cutest doggie called Oreo! Frances wanted a park setting, so I drew them sitting on a park bench, under a cherry blossom tree:)
If you would like a custom portrait hand drawn in my style, get in touch with me! I’d love to make a unique portrait for you!

Comes in abundance of colours.
A fresh posie.
A blue blue sky.
Home grown greens.
The winter dreariness has been slowly catching up to me. I feel like on some days I just want to crawl into a dark cave and hibernate. I’ve also realised that it takes me longer to do my art because my mind sometimes behaves like a stalled cold engine.
Yesterday the beautiful sunshine seemed to make the winter day pleasant enough. I’ve also noticed how much my mood has improved by just bringing flowers home.
Sending you all warm wishes for this week! xoxo

If you’re free this weekend, come down to Made On The Left for TWO great days of designer arts and crafts! You can check out the impressive list of stallholders here.
The market poster is illustrated by the talented Samantha Hughes. Aren’t the monsters cute? They look dressed up for the winter markets!
Come by and say hi at my stall. I’ll be selling my handmade stationery on Sunday, July 18th. Hope to see you there!

My workspace just got a little more cuter with my new bear pad warmer, a winter gift from my husband. It’s a nifty USB gadget that heats up your “mouse hand”.
The gadget really works, much to my amusement! Though I would have preferred Mr Bear to be even hotter (he’s only slightly warm). But for cuteness factor, I think he has surpassed my expectations! So bonus points for Mr Bear!

Mr Rain is staying with us for a couple of days…
Since his arrival, we’ve been enjoying hot drinks together over a good book.
Mr Rain is going to help out in the garden and then go swimming in the lake. If you see him around, don’t forget to give him a big smile! xoxo

The crowd at Perth Upmarket was huge!
It was hard to stop and take pictures without stepping on somebody’s toes. This is the only picture I took of the upstairs hall (where my booth was at). There were still other vendor stalls downstairs, at the foyer, out at the lawn and in another hall.
I was delighted to find Liv and Lauren as my stall neighbours. Liv from Olive Farm sells beautiful bridal accessories (you can even wear them to non wedding events). They are truly exquisite and I love the colours of her stall. I also think it’s adorable that her husband is wearing one of her creations!
This is Lauren from Osier who is posing by her succulent table. Isn’t it gorgeous? Her jewellery pieces have a bit of vintage quirkiness to them. I’m a big fan of her work.
This is my cute tumbler pot from Eucalyptus Homewares. I’ve been admiring Melanie’s work for ages and decided to save up to get one of her creations. As you know, I’ve been having the green fingers lately and couldn’t resist these handmade herb markers and planter pot to add to my growing collection.
All in all quite a fun day! You can see more pictures of the winter Perth Upmarket on my Facebook page.
