There’s something to be loved about bakeries, the smell of home baked bread, fresh coffee and cakes and girls in cute aprons! When backpacking in Japan, we stumbled upon the cutest bread shop in Harajuku. It was tucked away in the alley streets and it had the sweetest atmosphere. We ordered a sunflower and pine nut loaf, a pistachio nut bun and a toasted cheese bread to share between us for lunch. And as we ate, we could see the bakers in the kitchen making new bread.

One night in the backyard, I found a smiley face in the sky! So I made a wish and I also made a list of my new year resolutions:
To live a healthier and greener life.
To draw more, without any fear.
To give.
To love.
To forgive and forget.
To be open to change.
To expand Little Mo and Friends.
To have fun and enjoy.
To draw a children’s book.
Happy new year. May all your dreams come true this year! Xxxxx

I love croutons, they go well with hot soup, cold salads and pasta.
- Cut 2 slices of normal white bread. Cut into small cubes (with skin).
- Add a good dash of olive oil into a baking dish.
- Sprinkle some sea salt
- Add a dash of mixed herbs (thyme, rosemary, parsley just to name a few)
- Mix the seasoning and add in the bread. Mix well
- Bake in the oven till golden brown. Enjoy!
Sometimes on a lazy day…I serve croutons on a bed of tomato pasta.

I have a range of notebooks in my shop now! I’m very excited about them because I love notebooks myself. I keep a few for sketching, journaling and collecting dried leaves and flowers or found objects!
Each notebook has 50 blank pages of recycled paper for you to draw and sketch to your heart’s content! They are available in 3 lovely designs; Cherry Blossom in Valentine, Wild Berries and ladybirds in Autumn and A Picnic Slumber in the Afternoon. I hope you will enjoy them!

Welcome to the journal of Little Mo and Friends.
My name is Helena, I am a hopeless writer but hopefully a better illustrator. This journal will have random ramblings from the artist, pictures of nature and some work in progress from the little studio of Little Mo and Friends.
Little Mo and Friends is an Eco-Friendly stationery and gift shop, created because of my love for old fashion snail mail, swap packages, pen-pal friends and anything related with mailboxes and little gifts!
I hope you will enjoy reading about my art and my work in progress. Please say hi, I would love to meet new friends! Thanks so much for visiting! xxxx
